Before starting a clinical trial on one of our patients, we present the case to our healthcare unit’s Ethics Committee. Only once we receive official approval—a tangible sign of our commitment to maximum integrity and transparency in research processes—do we proceed with the scientific analysis, strictly adhering to existing ethical standards.
The decision to undertake a clinical trial on a patient is, in fact, the result of a careful selection of the clinical aspect to be explored. And only after this careful planning are research subjects included among the eligible patients.
